Day 1: Tallinn

Day 2: Tallinn

    You will see a view of the medieval city wall, front of Toompea Palace and seat of the Estonian Parliament. The Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church (13th–18th century). The Town Hall Square and the outside of the Town Hall (14th century), the Pharmacy, St. Nicholas Church, the Holy Ghost Church and some Guild Houses from the Hanseatic period.
  • Afternoon beautiful Kadriorg Palace and Pirita sightseeing tour with English speaking guide
    The Kadriorg Palace and park were founded by the Russian czar Peter I. According to the designs of the architect Niccolo Michetti, invited from Rome, the Palace was built after the Italian villas, consisting of a main building and of two annexes. Afterwards you visit the Song Festival Grounds where national song festivals are held and have a drive through a beautiful residential area of private wooden houses drowned in greenery. You will visit the ruins of the 15th century St. Brigitta's Convent and see the Pirita Marina which hosts annual international regattas.

Day 3: Tallinn – Lahemaa National Park - Narva

    The Lahemaa National Park was created in 1971 to protect the characteristic North-Estonian landscapes and the national heritage of the area, and to preserve harmonious relations between man and nature. The Park area extends over 725 km², 474 km² lies on land, 251 km² is the sea.
  • Arrival in Narva and Narva sightseeing tour with English speaking guide
    Narva is the easternmost point of the European Union and the only location in Estonia that offers an unobstructed view of Estonia’s neighbour Russia. Narva was once called the “Baroque pearl of the Baltic Sea”, but after heavy damage of the Second World War in 1944, had to be almost completely rebuilt. Today the city is dominated by Soviet architecture. The Hermann Fortress, which looks across the Narva River to the Russian castle on the other side, is the best-preserved castle in Estonia.

Day 4: Narva - Tartu

    The time-honoured university, museum-rich and Hanseatic city of Tartu lies on the banks of the River Emajõgi. The capital of sothern Estonia is the second largest city in the country (but the largest in terms of student population!) and the oldest in the Baltic States. Tartu is a modern city with a rich historical heritage and culture.

Day 5: Tartu – Viljandi - Parnu

Day 6: Parnu - Saaremaa

  • Arrival in Saaremaa and island sightseeing tour with English speaking guide
    Saaremaa is known as a great recreation place with unique nature and a lot of sights. The island has retained its uniqueness due to its location and insulation. In the villages there are still stone fences and houses with thatched roofs, beautiful national costumes and dialectal language are still used. Junipers, dolomite, windmills and the famous local home-brewed beer are considered the symbols of Saaremaa.

Day 7: Saaremaa – Tallinn
