Kemeri is a part Jurmala City - a very special part. It is like a town enclosed in primeval nature. There are lots of roads, paths and tracks in Kemeri vicinity - both in the city and in nearby forests.

When Kemeri was a popular health resort, Kemeri guests were going to swim to Jaunkemeri beach. About a hundred years ago there was even a tram line to make travel of the rich Kemeri visitors to the beach fast and easy. Unfortunately there is no single trace of the tram line left, but the beach is still there. You may go to the beach following the former tram route. Water is cleaner here in comparison to many other places in Jurmala city and there is far less people around.
A bicycle is an ideal mean of transport in this case. Length of the route is around 7 km one way.
