    Lithuania should be grateful for its highly popular kybyns to Vytautas, Grand Duke of Lithuania, who some 600 years ago brought Karaites to Lithuania along with their kybyns. Surprisingly enough, Lithuania has never counted more than two or three thousand Karaites, while their kybyns simply conquered the whole country. Even the most exacting gourmet will appreciate Lithuanian dishes and original drinks included in the menu of the restaurant.

Day 3: Kaunas and Rumsiskes

    Rumsiskes Open Air museum is one of the largest Open Air museums in Europe. It was opened in 1974 and covers the total area of 175 ha which contains 140 buildings from the 18th–19th century with the restored original interiors and surroundings. The museum displays the heritage of Lithuanian rural life in a vast collection of authentic re-erected buildings where the Lithuanian people lived and worked.
    Kaunas with nearly 400 thousand inhabitants is one of the most significant cities of Lithuania. During the early 20th century, governed by its first Burgomaster Jonas Vileisis, Kaunas was the home of the Lithuanian Government and the capital city; a period considered by many as the golden age of the city...

Day 4: Vilnius – The Hill of Crosses – Palanga

    Hill of Crosses - a small hill covered with thousands of crosses has become a symbol of Lithuanian nationhood and deep religious faith. Since mid 19th century it has been the place of expressing gratitude to God for divine favors.
    Palanga tour includes most famous spots in the resort area town, one of the prettiest, best preserved, best maintained parks in Lithuania’s coastal region - Palanga Botanical Park and The palace of Count Feliksas Tiskevicius (now Amber Museum) which was built in 1897 according to the project of a German architect Franz Schwechten.

    In free time enjoy a walk on Basanavicius street where you will find a lot of cafes and different attractions. This is the main street leading to the Pier.

Day 5: Klaipeda and the Curonian Spit

Day 6: Vilnius
