The Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, the former political, diplomatic, cultural centre of the State, was one of the most famous in Europe in the 15th-17th centuries and was demolished at the beginning of the 19th century.
At the restored Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania equipment works have been still continuing. However, it is planned that next year this multifunctional Museum will become an ideal venue for elegant occasions.
The first part of Palace is being planned to open at the end of 2011.
