The restaurant Rozengrals is located on the small street in the centre of Old Riga. These premises were mentioned in the scripts in 1293 as the most ancient wine-vault and festival place of the Riga City Council.

Rozengrals restaurant invites you to taste an authentic medieval dishes: duck drumstick baked in the oven with cherry-onion jam (one of the most favourite dishes of the King of Naples and Sardinia, Rene of Anjou, 14th century); wild boar pot roast (the Queen of France, Blanca of Navarre, particularly favoured the dish made of game that filled the King's land, 13th century); Dorado oven baked in caper and mustard sauce (Onaker, the bishop of Auxerre, was a famous gourmand and this dish was one of his favorites, 6th century); Pistachio ice cream (this delicious Sicilian dessert goes back to the middle of the 16th century. It was served exclusively at the houses of rich aristocrats for those who are in love. It was made of fresh milk, eggs and pistachios delivered from the Middle Asia especially for this occasion) and many others.
