Lahemaa is the oldest and largest national park in Estonia representing the nature and cultural heritage, typical of North Estonia.

Established in 1971, covering an area of 72,500 ha. It encompasses 47,410 ha of land and 25,090 ha of sea. Here the forest, swamp and coast ecological systems, historical and architectural memories are preserved. Lahemaa is one of the most important forest protected area in Europe.
On our excursion to Lahemaa we explore the Lahemaa National Park in the best way to get to know its nature - walking on the nature tracks, such as Viru Bog nature trail, Altja Nature and Culture trail, Kasmu Nature and Culture Trail. On the territory of Lahemaa National park we will visit Sagadi, Palmse and Vihula Manors, Altja fishing village, Kasmu captains’ village, Käsmu Maritime Museum. On the way back to Tallinn we see the widest natural waterfall in Estonia - Jagala waterfall.
