St. Petersbourg Hotel Tallinn 4****

Situated in the heart of Tallinn’s Old Town, the St Petersbourg Hotel is a luxury hotel rich in medieval charm. This intimate hotel has been carefully restored to reflect the historic style of the capital’s Russian merchants and is an elegant retreat for a modern traveler. Experience the seductive grace of one of Estonia’s finest boutique hotels, where timeless splendor is intermingled with the heights of modern comforts.

All of St Petersbourg Hotel 27 rooms and suites have been individually designed to reflect the Russian merchants’ style.
The building itself dates back to the 15th century when a wealthy Russian merchant purchased the property and had it redesigned by the famous architect August Gabler. The latest technological appliances have been discreetly integrated throughout the hotel giving guests the height of comfort in an elegant traditional setting.
The Nevskij restaurant is named after the medieval prince and hero Alexander Nevskij. Dishes created by the restaurant Chef de Cuisine combine Russian traditional recipes with unusual but surprisingly delicious flavours. His creativity and dedication are reflected in every dish that departs the kitchen, even down to the elegant petit fours. With haute cuisine delights of blinis and caviar and hearty bowls of borsh soup on the menu, there is sure to be something to suit all palates. A particular delight is the five course ‘Menu a’la Chef’, which is specially put together by our Chef de Cuisine. The Hotel St Petersbourg also boasts a particularly fine vodka selection. Dine in the elegantly tapestried rooms by candlelight and enjoy some of the best haute Russian traditional cuisine on offer in this city.
Enjoy a large variety of true Estonian food in Kuldse Notsu Korts – Golden Piglet Inn. Using recipes that have been passed down from our grandmothers and our grandmothers’ grandmothers, this authentic restaurant is popular with locals as well as tourists. All meals are prepared with fresh products from local farms, accompanied by a variety of Estonian drinks. Highlights of the menu include the restaurant’s home made cheese and the ‘sausage feast’ that includes the famous Estonian blood sausage. Regular local music performances take place from time to time and many people come here to enjoy the lively atmosphere and meet friends. In the summer, the restaurant opens up onto a charming terrace.
