Day 1: Arrival in Vilnius - Dvaras Manor House
 
 
  • Arrival in Vilnius, meeting and transfer to Dvaras Manor House in Vilnius Old Town, check in.
    Written sources dating 1790, mention that the original hotel building belonged to a small manor which had been built on the land of Lithuanian ducal family Radvilos. It is known that the manor had five guest rooms, an ale-house and a shop. This hotel building has been recognized as an architectural-historical monument.

    During the Vilnius sightseeing tour you will see Vilnius Cathedral and its square, the University campus, Pilies street with the 16 – 18th century historical and architectural monuments, Gothic corner of Vilnius with St. Anne’s and Bernardine churches, the former Town Hall square, the Dawn Gate with a miraculous icon of Virgin Mary, the 17th century Baroque church of St. Peter and Paul.
    It is also highly recommended to visit Trakai - the ancient capital of Lithuania, which is famous for its 15th century insular castle housing an exhibition on prehistoric findings and 17 – 18th century applied art, the way of life of the Lithuanian Grand Dukes, and Karaites, brought to Lithuania from the Crimea.

Day 3: Dvaras Manor House - Rundale Palace - Rumene Manor

  • Transfer and visit of Rundale Palace and Park.
    Rundale Palace is the most beautiful baroque palace in the Baltics (18th century). The palace is an outstanding example of the early work of Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Lunch at Rundale Palace restaurant.
  • Further transfer to Rumene Manor located 1 hour drive from the Latvian Capital - Riga, check in
    You are invited to “step back in time” into the exclusivity of a private manor house, once owned by Baltic aristocrats, with the relaxed atmosphere of country life in an unspoiled area of Northen Europe. The manor house itself is a 19th century Neo-Gothic gem, surrounded by a 7 hectare landscaped park nestled at the shore of its own lake. The award-winning renovation of the manor was completed to the most exacting standards in 2009.

    You will enjoy the beauty of the ancient Hanseatic city, visit famous Art Nouveau streets, learn about Riga historical city, while strolling through the cobble-stone, pictorial streets of the Old Town.

Day 5: Rumene Manor - Ammende Villa

  • Transfer to Sigulda - Turaida Museum Reserve and Turaida Castle visit.
    Sigulda pleases with long exciting journeys into the past. Situated on both banks of the ancient valley of the Gauja River, Sigulda is one of the most beautiful cities in Latvia. A great part of Sigulda area includes the Gauja National Park. It was established in 1973 in order to protect the flora and fauna biodiversity.
  • Further transfer to Ammende Villa in Parnu.
    Located in the most stylish and fully preserved Art Nouveau building in Estonia, which was built in 1905, the Ammende Villa Hotel & Restaurant was opened to the public in 1999. Today, the Ammende Villa is one of the most beloved tourist sights in Parnu. One need not admire the building only from the outside. It houses a world-class hotel and restaurant, where many music and art events are also organized.

Day 7: Ammende Villa - Padaste Manor

  • Transfer to Padaste Manor.
    The earlier history of Padaste Manor begins with 16th century. In the end of 17th century there was also an orchard created in addition to the mansion and other manor buildings. By the 19th century the number of peasants had risen up to two hundred. The facade of the mansion and the lawn is framed by two rows of imposing rubble stone buildings. Good to know: It is most likely that the stable and carriage shed were built first. The manor had its own wind mill, lime furnace and brickfield. Today the mansion is occupied by luxurious SPA hotel.

Day 11: Vihula Manor - Tallinn departure

  • Transfer to Tallinn airport, optional Tallinn sightseeing tour.
    During Tallinn sightseeing tour you will see a view of the medieval city wall, front of Toompea Palace and seat of the Estonian Parliament. The Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Dome Church (13th–18th century). The Town Hall Square and the outside of the Town Hall (14th century), the Pharmacy, St. Nicholas Church, the Holy Ghost Church and some Guild Houses from the Hanseatic period.
